JPP Info

The long wait is over folks!  Jam Packed Productions is back with something fierce.

In 2005, our intention was to bring you the finest in originality and a wonderful product for a great price when it came to producing our own comic books.  We hit it off with “The Super Naturals #1″ (which btw has nothing to do with the television show Supernaturals).  Our first issue sold out through Diamond and at our first Wizard World convention.  We were stoked about it and immediately started on our next title, ” The Zombie Project”.  That was our first mistake.  Instead of working on putting out T.S.N. #2 and finishing up the next couple issues we went on to produce our next title and found ourselves in a huge delay which made fans of T.S.N. pretty upset.  I know myself, I get upset when it takes 6 – 12 months to see the next issue of a title that I loved.

A year later, after a few speed bumps, we finally released T.S.N. #2 and our new title, “The Zombie Project #1″ which again hit it big by selling out.  Did we make money, no.  But we did gain tons of new friends and fans and did what we love, write and draw effin comics!

Since then, we put out a few Preview books, Pin-up books pertaining to a future title soon to be released, “RAVE” and one helluva cool Zombie Diary.  Still not satisfied, we decided to take a break and reevaluate J.P.P.   What did we need to do to make ends meet?  What type of schedule could we put ourselves in to be able to continue to work our normal 9 – 5 job? (yeah we have mortgages and bills just like everyone else and unless you’re a top dog in the business, you ain’t paying the bills by just doing comics) And how could we continue to put out product that looked and read GREAT?

We understand that we are an Indy based company and we could so put out work that looked like it was done in our basement, but that’s not J.P.P.  We are Jam Packed filled with talent and ideas that COULD make it HUGE and are willing to do what we need to do to get it out to the world.

That is why, we have now moved on to bigger and better things.  Not only will you be able to come to our site and enjoy our comics/graphic novels…yeap I said it, graphic novels.  But you can now come here each and every day to read all about the comic book industry including interviews with special artist/writers and read reviews on some of the titles that we here at J.P.P. are reading these days.  Plus a few extras on movies and music that we dig as well.  It’s 2010 and J.P.P. is NOW the total package in pop culture entertainment and we invite you to once again join the Jam Packed Crew with what we have to offer you.

We are true fanboys and girls who love the industry!
