What could I possibly say about this masterpiece? That’s right, I called this a masterpiece! First off, it’s a creator owned title via one of the most creative writers in the biz, Brian Michael Bendis and his partner in crime, Alex Maleev, who possibly lives in Brian’s brain. Alex puts together some of his best works of art while laying the words of Brian into a vision that is so enchanting, one would and will go back just to look and stare at this art.

Now that I’m done praising Marvel’s dynamic duo, lets get to the actual book. I mean that’s the main reason you’re checking out this review, right? Let me just tell you, “IF YOU DO NOT OWN THIS ISSUE, GET TO YOUR LOCAL COMIC BOOK STORE AND GRAB ONE BEFORE THEY ARE GONE!” I’ve read this issue four times already and every time I read it, I ask myself, “How can someone tell a story this good?” Issue 2 can’t get here fast enough.

Without spoiling anything, (cause I hate when it’s done to me) the main character we have here is a young female, possibly in the range of 20 – 23, who is ready to take matters in her own hand and fix our world, which to her is broken. Her name is Scarlet. A hot, sexy red headed bad-ass who is bound to destroy the corrupt and help the victims. So, now you’re thinking that this sounds like every T&A book out right now, well no sir. This is real life crime storytelling. No bull. No superpowers. Just a plain ole regular human being doing what she knows is right and taking care of all that is wrong.

Trust me when I say that this title is a MUST HAVE!
