That's how Ollie always dressed as the Green Arrow. Robin Hood was his inspiration. I recommend the Quiver story arc by Kevin "Silent Bob" Smith. It will give you a better background of the character.

I think that although Kristen will never fill Angelina's shoes in the sexiest category, she might be able to pull off being an apprentice assassin in Wanted 2, provided she doesn't have too much dialogue. She can look badass, but in all the movies of hers that I've watched, her acting is subpar; and I'm not just talking about the Twilight movies, though I am guilty of watching them.

Erin Go-Bra-less as Emma Frost, huh? Alice Eve was also the female lead in "She's Outta My Lague." Here's hoping she can take on the role of Emma Frost. Eye candy/comic relief may not translate well into being an essential X-Men!

All of it, I really think, boils down to the M. Night having way to much into. If what the actors have to work with on paper isn't good, then it's going to suffer in the performance. Look at Sin City. It's creator was the writer, where as with this M. Night was given full writing credentials. You get the cartoons writers to draw up the script. They know the plot better than anyone and (since the show is so popular) might just have a good idea of how the story should have been. As a matter of fact, M. Night said it best himself, "I bring as much integrity to the table as humanly possible. It must be a language thing, in terms of a particular accent, a storytelling accent. I can only see it this certain way and I don't know how to think in another language. I think these are exactly the visions that are in my head, so I don't know how to adjust it without being me."

This movie was awful. To begin with the plot was completely disjointed. M. Night jumps around from scene to scene with reckless abandon leaving the viewer to play a guessing game with a large portion of the story. The characters were developed horribly. Katara and Sokka are seemingly bit characters with absolutely zero motivation to go on this journey with Aang. You're telling me that the best M. Night could come up with was some convoluted "he's our responsibility" line? Why exactly? They knew nothing about this kid, they didn't know he was a bender, they didn't know he was the Avatar, they have zero reason to just go off an follow him around. Aang is completely lifeless on screen. He's missing his trademark sense of humor and good nature. The performance was completely lifeless and lacked any kind of depth at all.

I found the visuals to be wholly disappointing. I went to this film to see bending and sadly there is very little to be found. The fighting forms were distorted and really most of the action scenes fell flat. In most cases it was a mas of people you couldn't distinguish from one another performing some form of martial arts on each other. Not only were the visuals not up to par the score to the movie was absolutely terrible. The cartoon had a beautiful soundtrack that went along with it and is one of them elements that make the cartoon so appealing.

I suppose all of this could have been forgiven if there weren't fundamental flaws in the story as a whole. Why is there so much focus on the spirit world? Why are we seeing the fire lord as a man concerned with his son through out the entire film? Why is Iroh so obsessed with girls? ( I realize this is in the cartoon but it plays out much better) Where does this seemingly random love story come from at the end of the film to an apparently minor character? (again this part actually made sense in the cartoon) Why are major characters cut out of the story?

I understand the film makes had limitations but it doesn't appear as if they really tired. This film was a complete mess. It won't do anything for the fans of the cartoon due to its many major plot holes and its wild interpretation of the story and the plot jumps so much and becomes so confusing that it will turn off the causal movie goer.

Overall it was a complete disaster and I hope that if they make another one (and that's a big if based on the box office returns) they can actually spend a little time trying to make something people will want to watch and can enjoy.

Oh and the name thing was something M. Night wanted. He felt it was necessary to correct the pronunciation of the names to how they would be said in the cultures they originated from.
